1. Do you have RealPlayer?
The multimedia lecture of this course is designed to work with the RealPlayer.
If you have this icon
on your desktop, taskbar or start menu. You
already have a RealPlayer. Be sure to check
whether this is the latest version. You can find
out whether there is any upgrade by opening
RealPlayer, click on "Help" > "About RealPlayer".
Click on the button "Check For Upgrade".
If you don't have the above icon on your desktop, taskbar or start menu, this means you don't have RealPlayer installed in your computer. Please go to http://www.real.com/realplayer.html and download the free Basic Player.
After you download the file, be sure to install the program as well. You should see the above icon after the installation.
2. How to access the course?
There are multimedia presentations in this course. The link to each can be located on the "Table of Contents". The course is divided into eight modules. The lecture for each module will automatically come up in an embedded RealPlayer window. The following is an example:

3. Pause and restart
From time to time, you may be asked to pause
the RealPlayer and download and read a document.
To pause the RealPlayer at anytime, click on this
near the bottom left corner of the presentation
window.
To restart the lecture, click on this

4. Scroll to a specific part of the lecture.
Use the scroll bar to move to a specific part
of the lecture.

Or click on the menu on the left of the
presentation window.

5. What if the lecture doesn't play in the RealPlayer.
There can be a number of reasons why the lecture wouldn't play in the RealPlayer. Please check our Frequently Asked Questions for more details.
